    Hi,

Is there any sealant I can paint on a ceiling to prevent water coming down from the flat upstairs? We can't identify the source of the leak upstairs but if we could just stop the dripping for the moment until we get a more permanent solution that would be great.

    Thanks

Water travels, so the actual leak may not be over the patch on your ceiling. There is no acceptable alternative - source the leak and fix it.

Dripping water has incredable damage potential. Get it sorted asap or it will cost you dear!
    Good luck.
