Carlon and Damon said something interesting in this week's podcast about the next 2 episodes. '316' was originally meant to air after 'The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham' but they decided to switch the episodes around, which means it doesn't really matter what order the episodes are viewed in. They said this only ever happened once before on the show, way back in season 1 - anyone know what episodes they're referring to?

Oh, i can't wait for 2 episodes in a row written by Carlton & Damon. They usually write the best episodes (they wrote last season's best episode 'The Constant').

I think they may have meant season 3. 3x02 and 3x03 got switched.

EDIT: Actually, going by the production numbers it looks like Solitary and Raised By Another were probably switched in season 1 as well. It looks like Raised By Another (when Ethan was exposed) originally came before Solitary (Sayid's meeting with Rousseau). They must have decided that there was more tension if Solitary came first, so they re-wrote Raised By Another to include scenes of Sayid rushing back to camp to warn them that they "are not alone."

The John 3:16 reference leads me to believe that the island may now reside beneath the Hill 16 end of Croker. I have my shovel in hand and am off to explore!

This was what I thought at first, 3:16 is probably the most famous bible quote. And also appear in the source code for the Ajira website

I dont actually think the 316 symbolism is John Locke... I think its more suited and well meaned to be Jack...

ive a strange perception that is all psuedo-religious island that Jack will become the leader/decision maker on who gets reborn or dies... and John will become the 'Jacob/Island' making sure the island is kept hidden.
