My Eyes Bled Yesterday

I was on the way to Rathmines yesterday and I was walking up South William Street. As I passed by the rear of the St. Stephens Green shopping centre two figures were coming towards me in the distance. A young lady and a 20 something man. Now I use the term 'man' loosely as I'm not sure he deserved to have that title. He was reasonably well dressed until it came to his choice of footwear. He was wearing a pair of UGGS similar to these. What was worse was that they were a matching pair as his companion was wearing the same.

My heart sank a little, a man wearing a pair of UGGS. As I said, I'm not sure he deserves to be called a man. So folks, have you seen any other 'men' out and about wearing these horrid things?

Tbh I'd rather see a guy in Uggs than Crocs and socks (which I see way to often!)

I know Uggs look silly but at least they keep your toes warm :)

Misleading thread title but I can see where you are coming from! Those Uggs look HORRENDOUS!! Bad enough on women, but lads, come on! :p

They were originally made for men. Horrible things.

Just know that not only do they look vile, they promote bad posture, higher risk of ankle sprains and fungal infections the article continues with the title "in women", probably because the author assumed no man would bother adorning their feet with something that looks like a horse's arse.

Socked sandals, Crocs and MBTs are only a step away (pun intended) in terms of uggliness.

    It is what it's.

Can't stand crocs or uggs on guys or girls. Uggs have been big with Aussie guys for over a year now and I've seen this trend in European cities over the last year also. Didn't think it'd work its way over here! Still, people dress for themselves and you'll never be everyones idea of cool or trendy. I love my mbts and the trainer style is nice for casual wear, not everyones cup of tea but works for me :)

At least the MBT's are less noticeable than Uggs!
