    Hi all

I am looking to cook something really nice for Saturday night, 3 courses. I don't want to have to spend too long in the kitchen once the meal has started though. I don't really mind how long it takes during the day in preparation but I def don't want to be slaving over a hot stove for 30 mins while my other half is in the other room!!

Ideas so far would include prawns/scallops for starter (I've no recipe yet though)
steak for main course (no ideas for veg though)
    chocolate for dessert (maybe souffle...)

THese are only my current thoughts though and I am open to any suggestions!!

I've only just noticed the very similar thread to this. Was in such a rush earlier I didn't spot it - apologies!
