    I think that 30 minutes from Drumcondra station to DCU is quite fast walking. It is an uphill walk for the most part as well - certainly all the way up to Collins Avenue.

    Leaving aside the distance and knowing the route, I would not expect to do that in 30 minutes to be honest, but obviously people's natural walking speed varies which makes discussions like this difficult.

    It'd also be a long long walk on a wet morning, though there should be plenty of buses from right outside the station between the No 16s, No 3s or even any of the No 41 options which would take someone to Collins Avenue.
