Audi A6 clutch replacement!

Right so, my da's 2005 2L tdi A6 needs a new clutch @60k. Its not really the cars fault because he rides the clutch all the time , just his (bad) driving style.

Anyway he's been quoted 1200quid to replace the clutch, pressure plate, bearing and flywheel. The flywheel is of the dual mass type and as the car is not the smoothest to drive I suspect that this might go in the future.

So a couple of questions I have:

    1. Is 1200quid a reasonable amount for this work.

    2. Is there a kit that removes the DMF from the equation.

    Thanks folks.

Edit: Its a quote from an indy mechanic.
