    hi guys,

first time poster looking for a bit of information, currently employed as site engineer/foreman/manager by a groundsworks contractor in the west dublin area, work is starting to tighten up and i dont see myself having a job in two months time.
started sending out Cv's in the last 4 weeks as expected did not get many favourable replies due to slow down, time of year etc etc. However i did get a call from a northern based contractor yesterday afternoon inviting me to an interview on this saturday morning in armagh. just wondering what would be a realistic expectation of a salary not sure if the work will be in 26 counties or up north, in my CV i said i was making 1200 euro per week after tax (i was until after xmass then i 'took' a 25% pay cut) obvoiusly i understand i probably wont get close to this figure, perhaps some other users could help me.

    Thanking you in advance

Ps if this is in the wrong forum apologies.

I can't give exact figures but it's fair to say you won't get anything near that in the North.
