Help! Really Dry Skin

    Hi Guys,

I've started a new skin care regime a few weeks ago to try and sort out the flare ups I keep getting. The new stuff is brilliant and is working a treat but it contains benzol peroxide and even if I only use a tiny amount of cleanser etc, it dries my skin out completely, leaving it course and almost flaky in parts.
Can anyone recommend a really good moisturiser? Ive had a look around, there is loads to choose from and Im not sure which would be best for me.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks ;)

I had trouble with dry skin a while ago - my skin had become sensitive to the products I was using. Now I'm using Vichy Nutrilogie 1 moisturiser, it's very rehydrating and gentle. The cleanser I'm using is Laroche Posay Physiological cleansing gel - apparently you can't be sensitive to it because it's so balanced. It cleanses really well too.
These are working out very well for me (I got them in a MCCabe's chemist and they have the whole range). Altogether the 2 products cost under €45 which is less than I used to pay for my moisturiser.

I use a seba med foam wash and the sebamed gel. I've very sensitive skin that's naturally a bit dry so anything else makes my skin either go mega oily or really really dry, plus I'm prone to outbreaks of acne due. (damnit, just want good skin!).

My mum, who also has sensitive dry skin, uses one of superdrug's facial moisturisers and finds it amazing. I use their moisturiser for very dry skin all over and have to say it's fantastic. It tends to get mixed reviews by magazines, but if you genuinely do have very dry skin it's great. I find it much better than even eucerin, as it's thinner so it spreads easily and evenly and doesn't stink either :p

    good luck
