Darts on a flight

    Heading over to UK for a competition in May, are you allowed to take darts on a flight, or are they confiscated like scissors etc. I'm only taking hand luggage.

    You can't bring them onto a plane, noticed a picture of them the last time I flew!! Probably better off mailing them to wherever you are playing

    ring the flight provider tell them what your at , get them to e mail the answer .most lightly you will put them in your luggage not carry on .
    when i go shooting in a competition the firearm is no problem as it goes in the hold.

    No luggage going into hold, only taking hand luggage on

    You are out of luck on this one then. Darts can only be brought in hold luggage, not carry on.

    Worth Asking if you can give the Item to the Flight Crew, They might agree to hold onto it. I was allowed bring a Motorised toothbrush on a plan and when apart there's a sharp metal bit coming out of it.

    they didnt seem to mind that too much. If you explain your playing in a competition and dont have luggage in the hold and require a solution they should offer some method
