bréa = fine/grand

bhí sé bréa sásta = He was (finely?) satisfied

Direct translation doesn't work 100%

maith go leor means good enough or ok. It is also a euphemism for drunk - bhi se ceart go leor - he was a bit drunk

(ana dona doesn't sound right)

Bhí sé uafásach = He/It was terrible
