I need to get to ublin on thursday after 4.30pm, I got a citylink bus last weekend, thinking it'd be faster then bus eireann, how wrong I was!

Is there a truly express bus to dublin or the airport from galway? I heard that one used to leave from bothar ui either but dont know if this still runs or waht times it runs at

    thanks

Citylink is the fastest bus, but traffic gets them all at that time, how about the train..

Don't trust the schedule though, I've been over 30 mins late to the airport with Citylink more than once.

seen that alright, but is too expensive is coming out at e74, as my ultimate destination is ardee, louth, but any cheaper way of getting to drogheda or dundalk is good

the busses listed on go and citylink are so slow I have no chance of a connection out of dublin

www.GoBus.ie have just announced an express service from Galway to Dublin for €20 return starting March 9th. They say the average journey time will be 2h 45min.

That's as quick as the train if they don't get held up in traffic. It's a lot cheaper too.

When the 2 new sections of the M6 open (this year and next year) they should be able to reduce their travel times further.

damn, and I just booked my airport parking (5 a day with Quickpark) - should have taken the Gobus - almost as fast as the car, and now also cheaper...

But finally, a bit of competition in the market - nice! Citylink will have to come down with the prices, too ;-)

Drop off at Eden Quay, pick-up at George's Quay nr the Dart bridge. Same as it used to be for Bus Nestor.
