Anywhos, is there a foundation thats similair to Mac that i could pick up in my locality? We have Debenhams so Benefit, lancome etc are all available here...

i myself find mac a very thick foudation(originally show make up made for drag queens)but once its one right it looks nice. Armani is nice a lil too watery but it doesnt even feel like you have make up on. Chanel is supposed to be in between armai ad mac, meant to be good. clinique is nice just goes straight on. but the likes of bourjois(voted best foudation one year)and chanel makes it..Hush!!but i recently got make up out of tesco and its lovely, it just says make up on the front clear bottle...
Hope it works out for ya!

You know that BT do a postal service if you want to continue wearing your MAC foundation but can't get to Dublin to get it. Just ring the counter and order it/pay for it over the phone and they post it out that day:)

Everytime this question comes up here Double Wear is always mentioned. Is it really that good? I'm now thinking of converting.

    Hi,
for the last few years i have loved my Mac foundation, until about a week ago, my friend bought me a make up lesson for christmas, a make up artist comes to your house and goes through what colours suit you etc. She used the Estee Double wear light, It was so light and long lasting. the lesson was at about half one in the day and i was able to go out that night with out applying any top up at all !!!!

needless to say, i was straight into town the next day to pick up a bottle, approx 30 euro.

Will be sticking to my mac for everything else though :)

I use Lancome Teint idole I think it is brilliant. It is a good long lasting foundation. It doesnt feel too heavy on the skin too which is always good. Plus it never cakes.

only started using it but i definitely think its worth it - the only thing i have to fix during the day is a little powder on my nose as it gets shiny (my nose, not the make up)..
    i would recommend it :)

Thanks PlayGirl. Only thing is I've heard that it can be quite heavy...I might try Double Wear Light....though not sure if that's too light then? Trial and error I guess :)

hmm, didnt try the light one but maybe get a test of each on either jaw line and walk around with it for awhile and see which you prefer?
