    Agreed, great episode

Only things I didnt like was the way Renee-gade acted in Vossler's house

She seemed really sadistic, and probably coulda handled it a lot better

Also, the sub-plot with Marika's sister is a bit of a dead end

She just knows he's not this Samuel guy, no biggy. But no he's gonna go kill her for no reason

and why didnt Motobo's wife go with him?

Liked the part at the end

"OH NO, hes gonna kill Henry, ah yay, Jack will stop him, But maybe he'll kill him with his last breath OH NO HE SHOT HIM"

    tbc......

    Nothin from Chloe or Tony

I can see him takin them hostage and forcin Chloe to work for him

    neways, top notch episode :)

Indeed good episode. Cant see Mr Taylor playing much part for the rest of the season, he either dies or hes kept on a life support machine... but knowing 24 he'll probably be up and working by 9pm :p

Shaun is starting to become quite suspicious as being the mole with his consistent "why arent I kept in the loop" stuff.

There must be something else behind the whole Dubaku girlfriend thing, if not it ould be rather pointless and stupid.

Anyhoo, cant wait for next week now!

Saw on some US forum that President Obama's admin has planned two media events scheduled for primetime over the next two weeks, one of which is schedule for Feb. 16... which will push 24 back a week!

    brilliant episode.

Renee has been tempted by the dark side....

Moss: "It's rules that make us better"
    Jack: "Not today"

Well the girlfriend story made Dubaku leave the hideout - escaping Jack.
But it probably will be his downfall.

If Tony is still bad and will use Cloe - that's when Morris most certainly come in to her rescue...

No Shaun is not the mole - he is too obvious. More likely the blonde colleague, he may whisper confidential things into her ear...

Great episode and by far the best this season by a mile.

Only thing that irritates me about this season is Bill's hair. It's freakin' crazy looking.

I reckon Chloe's alter-ego in the FBI (her name eludes me at this present time) is the mole. It'd kinda make sense in a way. She's the least likely to be suspected, she's quiet(ish) and she knows the in's and out's of the FBI system etc.... That's my two cents anyway.

Can't wait for next weeks episode. Hopefully they'll all be as good as this from here on out.

I think somebody above asked why Motobo's wife didn't go with her husband. Well Bill said that she was with Tony and Chloe receiving treatment or something.... Oh yeah she was recovering from the previous ordeal.

Anyway highlight of the episode was Jack's little slide to kill off the last remaining bad guy.

The Jean Garofolo one...? Nah.... going with the blonde as well. Why else is she there...? Or Larry himself. Still not sure about him. There may be another angle not yet brought in.

I think Dubaku's "girlfriend" is playing some sort of role in this. Why else would he be spending so much monet on her and paying her rent...? The sister is about to blow his cover, hence her needing to be taken care of. I have a hunch that they're Sangalans and if the girlfriend is in some way connected to Motobo...

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

As was posted above, it was probably just a wayt to get him out of the hideout so Jack didnt get him

The sister doesnt know he's Dubaku, she just knows he's not the Samuel he let on to be

So theres no reason for him to go around and kill her, cos she doesnt know too much, she doesnt know anything!

and it'd be risky him leavin if anyone else saw him walk out of the murder scene

Another stupid thing I noticed, when Renee called Larry

"Larry, im still alive, but u cant let anyone know"

*walks out into the hall with someone walkin towards him*

    "Renee????"

    :P

Yep, I loved this one - always good to see Jack go around kicking some ass... The whiny FBI guys (especially Larry) are annoying though with all their "rules", etc - Jack FTW, does what needs to be done :).
Moss: "It's rules that make us better"
    Jack: "Not today"

That was one of my favorite lines in this episode along with the exchange with El President:

Taylor: "How do I know we can trust you?"
Jack: "With all due respect, ask around..." :D

You'd think with his previous bad 6 days, he would be fairly well known around government circles by now...

The only way I can see this going now is Tony turning bad :(

Decent fight between 'special forces' Vossler and Jack.

Renee is extra hot when she's bad. :)

Excellent episode. I wan't expecting henry to get shot.

Jack is going to get the blame now from Taylor if anything happens. I think henry being shot is the start of Jacks' downfall. He wont easily be forgiven by the President, she's quite stubborn

Superb episode. Jack was as badass as I've ever seen him. As J-blk said, some great lines in it. And a great pace.

BTW - The title of the thread says 'Hour 7' - Isn't it Hour 8? Someone might click in this thread and see spoilers they don't want to see.

A quick look at IMDB.com seems to indicate the return of -
    Morris and Kim
:D in the last few episodes

    Poll fixed....

Excellent episode - action packed and very tense.
The ending was a big surprise for me - shows that they're willing to mix things up and stop it from being too predictable.

Just thinking back on the episode and previous episodes in this series. I wonder if Renee has some mysterious background.

We all know Jack's unorthodox approach to everything but I wonder if Renee is hiding something in her background. At times she's like the female version of Jack.

Especially when she tortured that guy in the hospital. Very Jack like.

Interestign theory. Maybe she's being groomed as the central character for the next series...?

    So, whos the mole?

the theory that Renee is going to play a major part in next 24 is interesting. I agree she seem to enjoy torturing way too much for just being a rule obeying FBI field agent. I'm sure there is more to her.....

And despite her initial reaction to get out of the operation when she heard Jack killed Vossler, she turned up at the hideout to break some more rules.

....the one and only mole :D

Very good episode. It worked on so many levels. Didn't see Mr Taylor getting shot and it'll be interesting to see if he survives in the next episode.

My only issue was when Jack took Larry's jeep and a few minutes later Renee called him and he was back in his office and had time to get the info on Vossler's wife. If the office was so near why would he drive?

Enjoying it so far but god damn i hate all the FBI characters. Hopefully a bomb goes off at HQ and Renee dies with it.

Superb episode. It's surprised me so far how fast seemingly major arcs have ended. First the CP device, now Mr. Taylor (irrespective of whether he survives or not). That's not a complaint, it's made it far from predictable, but it's hard to see where they'll go from here - there's still the mole in the FBI, and probably still in the White House, but Debachu now has no leverage. Maybe now that the threat has subsided Jack will try to get Tony to turn himself in and he'll go rogue again. I still think it's a bit early for that though.

Great episode, reminded me of the way 24 used to be all those years ago. Renee is basically she-Jack, maybe a bit over the top actually. And what about the poor dopes helping the Motubo impersonator and receiving a RPG up their tailpipe? Larry is a pain in the butt for sure.

I'm just waiting for Jon Voight to make an appearance as the REAL bad guy ;).

Another good episode. Jack and his "Not today" is vintage 24.

The quality this season has been pretty consistent. Hopefully they keep it up. Agreed about Bill's hair: did he did it? Do you know he was the terminator in T2!!

Finally saw this last night. It was a great episode, Jack was very extreme throughout and his slide at the end was awesome!
