Just wondering if any out there still plays MUDs?

I know everyone seems to be into the graphical online games but there is something to be said for the old text base ones.

After all you cannot have a screen with you killing something in work, but a black screen with white text does not look that out of the ordinary. In fact the boss might think you are working hard as you tap away on the keyboard.

There is a great site that list loads of MUDs, called the Mud Connector,
it give lists of MUDs and give you info about them. There are also other programs out there to connect with like Wintin and CMud, alot better then the telnet we used to have to use.

So, like I saw, just wondering if any one still plays them any more?

Yeah, I've been playing a few MUD's. Most recently I found one based around Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time saga.

    They're pretty cool

    :)

I used to play regularly. Lost many a night's sleep on mud2.com
