    1. 15+

    2. Individuals will continue to drop off. Hopefully, the whole panel will pack it in eventually, and leave Ger/Frank dead in the water.

    1. 18 point defeat to Tipperary. They'll punish Cork more than Dublin could yesterday with goals and more point taking.Dublin had a lot of easy points available to them yesterday but did not take a lot of them and went for goal.Tipp will be more economical and take points like they are going out of fashion.

2.I don't think it is that bleak for the new players.I was in Pairc Ui Chaoimh yesterday and the Cork crowd in attendance gave them a standing ovation at half time and after the match. It was as if they had just won a Munster title in front of 500 Cork fans.

I don't think they'll drop off so easy.

Tipp should win by 9 points plus. They wouldn't be at their peak yet and Clare did a bit of a job on them a few weeks ago.
Great experience for all these young hurlers though, certainly in a couple of years there will be a big boost to the returning Cork players (surely Mc Carthy will be gone in a month or so).

Between 6-10? Wont be a massacre as you suggest. The Cork team were caught a bit unawares by Dublin being so quick out of the blocks, they will probably learn from that and show more focus/concentration throughout the 70 minutes, and the sight of a Tipp jersey should get that extra 10% out of them. Sunday was this teams competitive debut, and there were a few positives to be taken.

This is a bit harsh. Its easy to see why people will be pro/anti the 08 panel, Gerald Mac or the Cork board.

But the current panel have done nothing to deserve criticism and they shouldn't be criticized for taking a hammering, they're all new to inter county hurling and they should be treated as such, they're obviously not going to be as good as last years panel.

They've been putting in the hard work training and as long as they give their all in the games they play; there can't be anything more asked of them.

Yes they have been putting in the hard work. and i hope they give a good game to Tipp.
Think Tipp will really try and put up a big score.
    Is the match on Tv

ya on tv as far as i know

first game in thurles under lights i think

i reckon tipp by something like 4-16 to 1-8
unless tipp field a week team to try out some new guys but don't see it happening,
get used to seeing teams unload their bench versus cork for last 20 mins in each game

I'll go for something a bit more respectable. Maybe 10-12 points. Cork aren't going to be facing the Tipp of the Munster championship last year, it'll be the Tipp team we played last week that'll go through the motions, pick up a few points or goals but have a good chance of slacking off for parts of the match.

I don't think Tipp are going to go out with the intention of Hammering Cork tbh. Sure they are playing them in the Munster Championship so they won't want to create even more Uproar in Cork(If that's possible:rolleyes:). If they only win by 9-12 points there won't be any increased desire to see the real Cork team back and once the Summer comes around hey presto easy first round match for Tipp.;)

PP have priced up the handicap at +16, dont think it will be that much maybe 8/9 pts - you have to factor the Cork lads being really up for it and Tipp easing off a bit late on

Dont know I think Tipp will cover that h'cap, there is serious competition for places in the forwards so I cant see them easing off and the backs were very impressive against Waterford last week

They were very good yeah, but the forwards did ease off later on in the match. You won by 4 points, but if you kept the same intensity going the entire match it honestly could've reached double figures.

But it would have been double figure only for Clinton Hennesey and no disrespect to th eCork goalie but i would doubt he is anywhere near that class and added to this Tipp were missing Eoin Kelly, Corbett, Callinan, Webster and Maloney and AFAIK all are available this weekend with the notable exception of Eoin Kelly
