    Hi All,
OK i have a little issue, I purchased a Mac Book Pro last April. 15.4" 4gb ram 2.2ghz, 200gb HDD. This was purchased for my office but i have now since moved back to a Windows machine (not my choice i may add).

So as this is a power house of a machine i have two options. Sell the MBP and downgrade to a MB or keep the MBP? My own useage just will not justify the MBP raw power, its just overkill for web surfin and a few minor photo edits.

Any suggestions on what to do????

I'd probably keep it to be honest, it's the non-unibody design so you're unlikely to make any money on the sale. Why bother trading to a lower spec machine?

Out of interest, why did you have to switch back to a Windows machine?

we have a AD domain and the IT Dept needed full control over all machines, plus we are rolling out Microsoft Office comms server, SAP was not 100 percent working correctly (could never print reports??) Entourage was also an issue, in the end i was working from outlook web access, Entourage was collecting mail when it felt like it???

I would say 85% of the time it was fine but some daily issues were pi**in me off a little.

If we had a IT person who knew more mac stuff and Mac Server it would have been ok but we are all Windows.

As it happens i am doing an Apple support pro course over the next few weeks. and the company are paying for it!!!!

the mac was not a asset of the company, also a few qustion being asked why i had a mac and other could not purchase one. It started to become a little sticky in the end. Also the new laptop is Vista Business Ultimate and this is the next base we are moving too
