adobe.pdf and gmail

    i am trying to send a pdf file via gmail-the file was created using adobe acrobat 9 and it returns an error message every time.
    i have no problem uploading an adobe file created with acrobat 5.
    any ideas?

    What size is the PDF?
    Are you using POP3 / IMAP / web browser?
    Do you have firewall etc ?

    i tried a number of files ranging in size from 566kb up to 1.5mb- i am using google chrome
    tried loading it into google docs with the same result.
