Heads up, there are a rake of deep potholes between Dunsoghly estate and Dunsink Lane end, mostly at the bottom of the hill where its usually full of water that drips out of the new housing estate.

They are at least a 6 inches to a foot deep and they are full of water where you cannot determine where they are when driving. Its a known blackspot for potholes as it is never repaired properly by DCC.

I didnt get time today to ring the council but a man working for DCC was going around in his tractor today and filled in at least one crater with a few stones(yeh wonderful solution!) so somebody must of rang up, the rest of the potholes are still there on all sides of the road so be careful whoever drives that way(including commuters heading to sticks in Meath!)

This is serious stuff, cars have overturned there recently due to potholes causing serious injury plus people had to be cut out by the Fire Brigade so slow down to a standstill if you have to negotiate around them or just to figure out where they are.
