I actually got the bus up this road this morning just as they were starting to arrive and I didn't know what was going on. Then I got off the bus on O'Connell Street and there wasn't one taxi on the rank. There were guards everywhere, I had my camera with me but I didn't have the time to wait for a good shot.

You know the way the Gardai flog off recovered stolen bikes every so often, this looks like the same thing for taxis!

Great shot, the pose of the guard just makes it for me.

This was taken from the steps of the Black Church, looking down Western Way. Anyone know why they're gathered there? Seems an odd place to stop.

Was the same as last weeks protest, just convenient to town for both parties.
The Gardai can just use diff roads, if ever you were going to close a road off so close to town with less of a knock on hassle it's this one.

Ah right, that makes sense. It's a quiet enough road I suppose.
