Maintaining Fake Tan

    Hi

    Need some Advice

Can anyone advise on how to keep my fake tan looking a bit realistic :-)

When I apply it Day 1 it's always fine up until Day 4 and then starts to get patchy I guess as my Skin exfoliates etc..

Should I apply the tan in between these times or is it best to wait till the old tan is completely gone and then start over as new.

I just find when the original tan is a few days old and if I try to do it again at this point that it goes a bit all over the place - as in patchy etc..

Anyone any help on keeping the same colour 24 / 7 like..

    Thanks

I think if you make sure to moisturise it well every day, it should keep it less blotchy..you could even use the moisturiser with the hint of tan.
and maybe apply it every 3 days?

Yep, this is what I do, Johnston's baby lotion is cheap as chips and does the job perfectly :D Try not to scrub to much in the shower in between applications and use a good exfoliator before re-applying. If you use a good tan (I use fake bake or St. Tropez) you can apply maybe twice a week until its the colour you want, then usually once a week is fine after that or if you need to you can top it up with a bit of cheap instant stuff (like bronz'express) if you really need to. Exfoliating and moisturizing appropriatly really is the key though.

Johnsons Baby Oil or Body Butter add a lovely healthy glow to your tan and keep it looking nice n healthy (Day 4 Reptile tan is never a good look:D)

totally agree with others above, once i initially apply tan, i moisturise and try not to scrub in shower, if i need to top it up i use dove moisturiser with a hint of self tan in it, and then before I re-apply my fake tan (bronze express self tan or cocoa bay are the ones I use having tried them all and finding these the best in combination with Dove and Loreal glam bronze for legs or sally hansen for an instant booster!) I exfoliate in the shower before reapplying. Its the only way to go !!! Hope that helps!:D
