sniping in airsoft is not like sniping in real world, you would be better of if your only just starting off in airsoft to go with an aeg

if you really want a bolt action, you can not go far wrong with the bar10, its a vsr clone with plenty of spare parts on the market out there

Thanks, have you by any chance used both the well L96 and the bar 10 and noticed a differance accuracy wise, and I'm starting sniping but I already have an AEG.

Due to the 1j limit in this country, every class of airsoft gun can perform on a similar level. You will get the same range and accuracy with a sniper rifle as you would with an aeg. But with an aeg you get the added bonus of rate of fire.

But if you feel like the sniper role would suit you then you should go for it, its probably not the ideal starting point but that's your choice.

As Puding said the Bar 10 is a great starter sniper rifle. The JG version is reliable, and comes with a scope.

used both, we had them both in at the shop, i find the bar 10 the better option, stock i would say there is not much difference in accuracy, bar10 wins on being easier to find parts for having a smoother cocking action and being very quiet, well that's my opinion anyway

for your money range the best choice is BAR 10.And as Puding said getting parts is easy.

I find the L96 more comfortable to use but the silence of the cocking and the firing makes the BAR10 an altogether more suitable sniper since, when a decent aeg can match your range, silence is your one big advantage.

The vsr is much better if money isnt a problem. If your on a budget the bar is great. I have the bar and tbo, cheekys is the best which is a mix of the two.
Sniping isn't all its craiced up to be. Make sure you know what your getting into

Friend of mine has the Well L96 used it abit myself it felt nice though the bolt was a bit clunky at times.

ya but in the right camo gear and loadout you can be one sneaky son of a tree / human hybrid.

i believe the best two tools for a sinper are a tm mk23 socom fullset and a p90 with silencer scope and and extended inner barrel

better maneuverabality near perfect silence all the range and accuracy you could ask for and alos the fact is that you won't be out gunned by any but the dual wieldiest of supportgunners

I was wondering if it would be better to get a bar 10 and get a new hop up and precision or just get the vsr

    why not get an aeg
    ???

I'd say the Bar10 because with the TM VSR you'll pay more for it at the start and if you like sniping you'll still end up getting the same upgrades for it as you would with the Bar10. There is a mod somewhere on 'teh internet' showing how to do a 'building foam mod' to the stock of the Bar10, apparently it improves it also (the TM VSR doesn't need this done).

the ASG m14 isnt a bad option either. I got one. their only 150 and i got a scope and mount on ebay for 50 delivered. illuminated crosshairs and only took ten days too.
That way you have the option of sticking it on semi auto and sniping or just full auto and riddling people.
theres a flip up bit at the back of the butstock so it rests really comfortably on your shoulder even when lying down aswell.
