    Hey anyone know where I can buy an extended car warrenty,

    I know that BMW give extended warranties but the car has to meet certain T&C's around its condition and upkeep. For an X5 I was quoted about €900 for an extra 1 year warranty.

    Some garages give 3rd party warranties through this crowd http://www.lumleyauto.co.uk -this is what Maxwells give out now.

    i think there's a company called mapfire or something like that who do them. I enquired once and was told that its available at most renault dealers

    We got my wife's GTI in 2006 and got the lumleyauto extended 3 year warranty, for total of of 5 year, and it cost €800 for the full cover.

    Bought it in foster motors at the time and when it was in for some warranty work it showed on their system as being on a 5 year warranty; so all was transparent.
