It's a protein powder with added sugar and vitamins and minerals. I'd be keener if it wasn't for the added sugar (came as a big surprise to the woman selling it, she had never actually read the ingredients).

You could do just as well buying some basic whey protein, adding a little flaxseed (for omega 3) and taking a multi-vitamin and a fish oil supplment. And you'd save a fortune. Those things are not cheap.

I did this a while back & it was grand. However, EileenG is right, lots of sugar in the shake - must be an American thing - obsessed with sugar.
You can either take the shake & get their protein powder and add it according to your body weight (ask the rep re this).
Or, you could try Spirutein. I use this now & it's much nicer, higher in protein & not sickly sweet. I've only found it in health food shop in blanch centre & liffey street. It's about 25 euro, best flavour is banana.
So you could get all the supplements & the whole plan off the Herbalife person & then get your own powder

Hi I'm doing the Herbalife diet now but I am only doing it Monday to Friday and eating as usual at the weekends. It is very expensive to do it but I've lost 13 lbs in 6 weeks and lots of inches :D
Lets hope it keeps going that way - will stay with it til Christmas and then join a fitness class like I usually do to keep it off!

My Mother has been doing it for the last few months, she's lost three stone and is delighted. She can't really exercise cos of a back problem and since she gave up the fags she piled on weight. So gotta say I've nothing but good things about it.

Only thing is, I've seen different people will show you different ways of using it, for example the instructions on the bottles aren't what my Mother was shown. She was put on a programme of shakes, multi vitamins and different herbal tablets, got excellent results.

Place she gets it is the Santcuary in Mountrath, 05787 32876
