A mate of mine left the keys for his highly desirable 93 d civic  (only 200K on the clock!) in the back of a taxi last night - he didn't get the roof sign number. Anyway he was anxious to know if there's anyway of contacting the carriage office on the weekends?

    Any advice much appreciated Thanks

I would say a high chance of getting your keys back. As last poster said wher was this ,time, car type etc etc ..... If outside Dublin try local Garda station they have a psv office might be left there

I hope the system has changed now but I doubt it. I worked as a taxidriver in Dublin back in the 90's. The first and only time I returned lost property to the carriage office, back then in Harcourt St., I was made to join the general queue for all taxi related enquiries. Two hours later I was allowed to leave in the lost property, (a pair of prescription glasses if I remember correctly).
Needless to say I never brought anything back to them again.
