    i was in a shop the other day. seen a line 6 cab in head going for 599 was 750.
    is that a good price and any good

    i think it was the 75 head and the 4x12 cab.

    Presuming you are referring to the spider series no, you could get a much better sounding amp for the cash.

    just yesterday i was checking out the Line 6 Spiders. there were no flextone's available in xMusic so gave the spiders a go. they are awful. 60 minutes of trying produced not a single nice tone. its far from intuitive to use and really really sounds bad.

    I gave a cube a go after that and was really happy with a tone coaxed from it in about 60 seconds.

    This is in no way saying line 6 are crap, just the spider series. Just my humble opinion based on expirience.

    I think the spider series are grand as a practice amp.:)
