I am considering doing a post-grad course in PR. It is rather costly, but they get you work experience, which I am lacking. And they say 98% of people get actual employment after this work experience. I would like to find a job before things deteriorate more in the country, I think the recession will be around 2 more years.
My mother says it would not suit me, this type of work. What is the work like anyone know? Should one have certain personality traits? I am a science graduate btw

It's a real tough gig if you're the shy type! Tough area to get work in and tricky to learn right. You'd need to be creative, have natural empathy and be a great communicator. Very rewarding job when it works out.
