So whats happened here? Sky have won setantas TV covergae rights to saturday evening FAPL coverage? So what are Setanta left with? Monday night only and 3pm saturday covergae for ROI?

That could be the beginning of the end for the poor buggers now.

It will only be the Indian premier league of cricket and international matches that will have any appeal for me, but a subscription of 21.99 a month wil just not be worth it. Seems sky have the upper hand yet again.

Sky have won back control of 80% of EPL broadcasting rights leaving Setanta only with the Saturday evening kick-offs, Setanta losses rights to Monday evening games from 2010 season.

The oversea right are up for grabs now also which I presume means Setanta could lose Irish EPL Saturday rights if Sky felt like really killing them off.

Setanta show alot more than the Premier League so this will hardly kill them off.
