i take it from the silence that the link is not very good for weather stats????

Yes and no.
Most of the regulars here were aware of the the list.

As for the data itself, its good data but not comparable with synoptic or climatological stations. Mainly because of non standard site and installation. Also with the close proximity of traffic they are quite dirty which would affect readings as well.
