Ganley Craigie just off the M7 have regular auctions with repossessed gear. Not necessarily farm gear but they're regularly have tractors, teleporters, contractor gear etc up for auction and they usually go fairly cheap too. Google them and keep an eye out for what's coming up

Did anyone go to this today? I went up just for the look but the crowds were massive!! They werent letting anyone in to the auction room unless ya had a bidding number, and I wasnt giving €1000 deposit to get a number just to see what stuff was making! Some serious machines there though. An awfull lot of lorries.

Wasn't at it but just wondering how many of the items are actually being sold at the auctions. They have items on their website that have been there for quite some time now. There is a 24T Herbst low loader there since last September along with a few other items.

Yeah went over my cousin had bidding number but i still got in.Was kicking myself that i didnt but one of the masseys like the 13,35 and 65.I agree one hell of a lot of lorrys and diggers. The hedgecutter made 2500 or a little bit more.Which was stupid money. Some people got carried away the horse box made 3000 plus the fees would make it around 3800. And they are 4200 new i was told.

That horsebox surely was expensive!! What sort of money did the 35 and 65 make? A few clean post drivers there aswell, did ya see them being sold?

Hi, the post drivers both made 2000 each plus fees. And if my memory serves me the 65 made 2500 and one of the 35 made 2300 and the other 2200 the 135 made something like 3300, all plus the fees. The cheapest thing there was the topper at 100.

    Regards

There was no real value at ganley craigie the other day, diggers were going for what you'd get them in the autotrader for. And there's no fees to be paid with the autotrader!
