Hi Guys I was let go from work there on the 28th of November but I have collected my dole the last 2 weeks in the post office but I went in today to collect the money and there was nothing there for me as I have never collected the dole in my life before I do not know what is wrong and why there was nothing in there today has anyone else been in the same situation before? Does anyone know what I should do?

You should ring your local Social Welfare office. They are the only ones who can tell you exactly why your payment was stopped. To find their number go to the website http://www.welfare.ie/EN/ContactUs/Pages/default.aspx#localoffices

Go to the dole office and find what is happening.

thats a ****ty situation to be in,did they send you out any letter?How long were you working with the company before they let you go?the reason I ask is because you have run out of credits.

As everyone has said ring your Social Welfare office. Make sure you get all back dated payments paid to you - keep a diary if you can . If you are out of work you're more than likely going to be entitled to payment, some people may end up on the wrong payment which *may* be why your's was stopped.

Hi guys just an update went in today and the person at reception said that my payment is still pending atm since the start of December, The money that I was recieving was from the CWO etc.. so have to go in on Wednesday to the CWO.... anyone else have this happen to them!
