    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone could help me. I recently moved into a new estate, I got Sky tv installed and a Magnet phone line and internet. All grand until I bought a second tv for the bedroom and tried to get Sky Multiroom.

The guys from Sky said that an analogue line is required for Sky Multiroom but magnet use an digital lineso they coudn't do it. So, I wait until my contract with magnet runs out, cancel them and try to get an eircom landline. But it turns out that Eircom and NTL have still not cabled the area due to a problem with the developers and won't for another 6mths or maybe a year.

How can I get tv for the bedroom now? Also, I'm now without phone and internet but not sure what provider to go with.

Any suggestions appreciated - please also note I am totally clueless about anything technology related so be patient!!

You can watch the same programme in the bedroom as downstairs by using a Videosender or by connecting a coaxial cable from the Digibox RF2 to the TV upstairs. A "magic eye" will let you change channels, too.
    See http://www.satcure.co.uk/tech/extenders.htm
    for more explanation.

Another option would be to go for a terrestrial aerial for the 4 Irish Channels and a FTA satellite system for the bedroom....worth a look at
