Antidepressants/Side Effects

I started taking Affex (20mg) last week. I know it's normal to be nauseous when starting meds like this but everyday I feel so sick and I can barely eat. I already missed a couple of days of college. It's really getting me down. I'm so happy to be in college and it's probably one of the few things I'm living for and I'm scared of falling behind on my work.

Has anyone taken these meds before? How long will these side effects last for?

Sorry this goes too close to medical advice. Yes you may have people with the same symptoms as you but for very different reasons. Best talk to your doctor about this as it may be any number of things from dosage or your personally reaction to the medication. You could also try the long term illness forum around her as I think they had a thread on side effects of various anti depressants.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
