Limp Bizkit At Rock Am Ring - Has Germany Lost Its Mind

Without getting too much into the jokes, the abuse, and everything else I could throw at Fred Durst it seems a little strange that a man so universally hated could make such a high profile comeback apperance. The "band" plan on releasing a new album, which Wes Borland has confirmed he has nothing to do with, and this is just one of a number of dates Durst plans to perform.

Is anyone here actually going to admit wanting to go and see Limp Bizkit in concert? Surely his attitudes define a genre which no longer exsists and unless he can pull something truly magical out of the bag this is simply a nostalgia act? Hard to imagine its been over 10 years since their cover of "Faith!"

As much as I hate Limp Bizkit, I would find it alot stranger that The script and Scouting For Girls are in the lineup.

Saw them there in 2001 and it was a great show, and i wasn't into Limp Bizkit back then,

think they should stay back then though :)

    Awful line up so far....

I would see them for the laugh. The only reason to ever see them was to watch Wes Borland and try to ignore Durst, but with Borland not involved there's no incentive. That, and the fact that not only were Limp Bizkit not particularly good, but now they'd be more irrelevant then they were then!

Im heading to either Rock am Ring or Rock im Park again this summer, and I cant wait to see them to be honest. Sure, the music made no sense but I cant wait to see their live show. Ive seen the Rock im Park videos on YouTube from '01 and it looks brilliant.

I remember having a ticket to see them headlining a gig at Punchestown (2002 i think)then Durst hurts his back and never re-scheduled:mad:

Don't ask him, he's a newbie to Graspop too hehe! :D
Sentinel Records reckon that the tickets will be in or around €141, because they're using a new distributor. Dunno if they'll be any cheaper if you shop around, but it is very handy to get them in Sentinel..

C'mon people, how could anyone stand still during Rollin ! And I actually quite liked their song for Mission Impossible, Look Around or whatever it was called. It's all in good fun.
