Toothpicks - will they burn in the oven?

    Just a quick question - contemplating cooking some of those chicken Kievs that Des mentioned in another thread - Is there any danger of toothpicks burning in the oven? one of those things i've always done my best to avoid using :) Thanks.

    No I don't think they would. You could soak them in water for a while first to be sure.

    Soak toothpicks in water for 10 --> 20 minutes beforehand if you're not sure.
