ya just plug it in and use the network setup wizard , the easy setup thingy should do.

There should be a way of doing it automatically, at the start theres a simple/advanced option choose the simple one and just keep pressing next.

I get an option of easy or custom at the start

I pick easy and looks for the connection

    what i think it is

its not picking up the 3g so its going into custom

Hi people I've got a similar problem. I am using 3 mobile broadband (I presume its more or less the same thing?)

I go through the same proccess as above and after the connection test it says ''An error occured during communication with the server. This is a DNS error. (80710102)''.

What do I need to do to fix this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

You need to make sure that your allowing other network users to connect through your laptop/pc to the internet...

To enable this on xp you:

go to Start --> Control Panel --> Network Connections
Right Click on the corresponding dialup connection (vodafone or 3g), then select properties, then select the advanced tab

Then under the Internet Connection Sharing section, make sure the first box is ticked (the one that says "Allow other network users to connect through this computers network connection" and select Local Area Connection from the drop down menu just underneath ..

Not sure if Vista is the same..

Then just plug the network cable in between the laptop and ps3 and set up the network again on the ps3... Selecting the easy setup should do the trick..

    Good luck
