Hi, this isnt meant to be sleazy or anything but will be going out in Dublin at the end of the month for a mates birthday.

A lapdancing club might be on the menu.

    Any good recommendations?

Afaik, there's one down on of the alley's in Temple Bar, and another (that looks very very dodge) on the quays...

I've never visited either tbh, so I can't help you much there.

I noticed on on my way to the temple(pub), don't know the name of the rood but its on the way to temple street walking from the memorial garden.
Looks pretty dodgy, never been it though, so i wouldn't know.

I guess anything like is going to be dodgy though, really.

There are 2 on lesson street, angels and.. can't remember the name of the other one. Once picked up a guy who had blown a grand in one of them, don't ask me how.

    Seriously,I don't know.

Well, Both actually. The girls can get a little aggresive too when you show no interest in them.

Lapellos on Dame St is your best bet(best of a bad bunch) tenner in on the door, thirty per dance(2004 prices, could be more now) wine menu only though and very very expensive. All foreign women mainly, Russia, France, Africa although i did get a dance from a girl from Offaly once. Neat dress essential.

    Thirty quid for a dance?
    Rip off city or what?
I reckon if you pour 30 quids worth of cheap drink into a bird you'd be in line for much more than a dance!;)

I've heard from a mate( ;) ) that Valintinos on Eden Quay is free in and the drink is "normal" Dublin club prices ... you don't have to pay for a dance if you just wanna sit back and enjoy the show....

But surely that defeats the purpose of going in the first place. I understood, through rumour, hearsay and diligent research on the web, that the outcome of an expensive night should be to put ones tongue and stuff in places it shouldn't be,but of course,I wouldn't know for sure.

There's always a cheap or reluctant one in the bunch (so I'm told) so I reckon (from what my mates have told me) that the kind of place I mentioned (after being told by my mates) would be pretty suitable.... so I'm told ;)

My *MATE* ( ;) ) says it's right next to Emerald Casino on Eden Quay. Walk down O'Connell St toward O'Connel bridge. Take a left before the bridge and you're on Eden Quay. Walk down that street past Garden of Eden, Laughter Lounger, Emerald Casino and it's just there. It's just next to The Met Bar (I think that's what it's called).
