Just wondering, is Junior Cert Irish taught through Irish in the vocational schools? Also, does anybody know where I can get sample exam papers online?

If you mean in a class where the language used in the classroom is mainly Irish, then yes, at least in some schools. It would be the same in most second-level schools I think (hope), nothing extraordinary about the approach in vocational schools.

Past examination papers are available at http://www.examinations.ie - see Examination Material Archive.

Thanks, Spurious. There's a vacancy for teaching Irish to Junior Cert and I have 1st year Irish so I just want to familiarise myself with the basics as I've never taught Irish on the secondary school curriculum before.
