GPA Arts degree weighting system

Hi I'm an Arts final year student in UCD, where they weigh GPA 50/50 for the last two years.

Do they take the sum of 24 modules (120 creds over four semesters) and calculate an average or do they take the best six from second year and the best six from third?

I heard something similar to the latter done in other colleges and am in high hopes but think it more likely to be the former.

    thanks
