Where has good aul Ireland gone to?:(:(

Sitting here listening to a bit of Christy Moore ainging about Knock and the DTs,Jack Charlton and beating England in the football.A time when we where proud of knock airport and our love of Alcohol.

Where has the laid back Irish people gone too?Obviously not everything back then was great but imo I think we where better off.Now its all Americisms and "Pop Culture".It seems people are more stuck up nowadays....

Would you rather things to go back to them days?(to a certain extent)

Or what would you like to see come back from the good auld days?

1,500 people per day laid off in January in Ireland, record unemployment levels....going to take a long time to recover from this recession:mad:

If we start borrowing loads of money at ridiculously low interest rates, start building loads of houses, it'll be ok again though ... right? Right? :pac:
