Looking to get into a few new shows and I'd like suggestions. I'm open to anything so long as it's a show that is (1) currently running and (2) has less than 20 eps per season (as I've noticed that shows that are over 20 usually are a bit "flabby" let's say).

    All suggestions welcome.

    IT Crowd
    Peep Show
    Dexter

Off the top of my head.

Most US shows go for 20 or more episodes.

I think Dexter is good but not the greatest even, but possibly the current best but that isn't hard.

Damages is quiet good but it will possibly go to 22 episodes, easy watching, first series is only 13 episodes.

But there is very little worthwhile currently running IMO.

Flight of the Conchords S2 - (3 eps so far)

United States of Tara (early days, but looks good) - (3 eps so far)

Leverage (my 2nd favourite new show this year, after The Mentalist) - 10 eps so far

From the UK, Being Human - 2 eps so far.

Flight of the Conchords is good, quite head the ball stuff.
Life - has 2 seasons finished now, 12 episodes in each.
Damages - in the 2nd now
Californication - finished it's 2nd season, and will be back next year.
Reno 911 - worth checking out. 5 seasons so far, about 14 eps each.
