Administrator rights..Vista..help?

    Heyo,

    New laptop today, prompted me to create user account which I did and is admin by default..I even checked in control panel-accounts...but when I try delete .exe files off my computer or applications, it says I need permission..asks me permission, I say continue then it keeps saying I need permission.

    ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what to do??

    Go to control panel > Users > Turn UAC Off. Restart Computer. Profit :)

    As in just delete my user account? Super! Vista is so ****ing crap.

    No don't delete your account. UAC is a security measure microsoft brought in, this is what is asking you for permission. If you turn it off it won't ask you for permission any more.
