Jogging tights

Does anyone know if there's any difference between running tights and those worn for cycling? I only have ones I bought for cycling and I can't see the point in getting a different pair for running

Cycling tights have a chamois, or pad, between the legs and typically have bibs instead of a waist elastic. Good ones will also not fit correctly when standing up straight, but are perfect when bent over the bike.
Don't think I'd fancy running in many of my cycling-specific clothes, to be honest.
(as an aside, some cycling jackets/tops are short in the front and make your belly cold when you run in them)

+1, I cyckled in to work (5.5 miles) in the cold before Christmas in the running tights, you wouldn't notice the lack of support on such a short journey but the cold just cut through me - especially the "middle" section! I also know I wouldn't fancy running in my cycling shorts, very restrictive.

Higher back in my cycling pair of RonHills compared to my running ones, other than that they are pratically the same apart from a load of extra reflective stuff on the lower leg.

for running, I use Likey's, Wiggle or Start Fitness' ebay shop.

In one of the tri/running mags I got lately there was a brochure for this crowd http://www.sweatshop.co.uk/ - I haven't used them are heard of them before but the prices seem quite competitive.

I've used them a couple of times recently and have found them to be spot on
