Its not hard to see why Irish Hip-Hop Artist Rob Kelly made a name for himself in Ireland & In the United States. He began his career as a live in studio guest on 2FM Show "The Big Smoke" where he would freestyle live on air on the late night weekly show in 2002. Rob soon established himself as a formidable MC and entered a spate of mc battles and won two in a row in 2003 including the national championships sponsored by Universal Records.

Rob collaborated with long-time producer Mr Green & La Coka Nostra/Special Teamz member Slaine from Boston on the smash song "Dropkicked". The song took Myspace by storm and had thousands of plays within the first few days of being loaded. The track was inspired in part by the relationship Rob formed with boxers Oisin Fagan and Undefeated rising star Andy Lee of the world famous Kronk Gym, being a keen boxing enthusiast Rob was honoured to accompany both fighters to the ring and mentions both in the song. Andy recently made his ring entrance to the song in his homecoming fight in Limerick City which was shown on national television and Rob marks this as one of the highlights of his career. Andy Lee also stars in the "Dropkicked" video.

Rob's new CD of the same name will be coming out on a US Label and will be available digitally and physically to buy worldwide. It will be launched soon along with his youtube channel "Kellovision"

Born in Hanceville, AL, Candi Stanton sang with the Jewell Gospel Trio as a teenager. They toured the traditional gospel circuit in the 1950s with the Soul Stirrers, Aretha Franklin, and Mahalia Jackson and recorded several sides for Nashboro, Apollo, and Savoy Records between 1953 and 1963. In 1968 Staton launched her solo career as a Southern soul stylist, garnering 16 R&B hits for Rick Hall’s legendary Fame Studios and gaining the title of First Lady of Southern Soul for her Grammy-nominated R&B renditions of country tunes, Stand by Your Man and In the Ghetto. In 1975 Staton saw Southern soul falling out of fashion and began collaborating with producer Dave Crawford, who propelled her into a disco diva with dance songs such as Young Hearts Run Free and Victim.

In 1982 Staton had become disgruntled with Warner Brothers’ passing interest in her career, so she returned to the gospel field. She and her husband, John Sussewell (drummer for Ashford & Simpson), founded Beracah Ministries in Atlanta with help from Jim and Tammy Bakker’s PTL Ministries. She has since recorded eight popular gospel albums, two of which have won Grammy nominations. In 1992 she was back in the pop mainstream with a Top Ten British hit, You Got the Love, a club-styled dance hit which sold two million copies abroad. Since joining Intersound Records in 1995, Staton has begun to sing some of her old R&B hits again and recorded some new message-oriented pop songs while gaining a new title, the Sweetheart of Soul.

In 2004 EMI released Candi Staton a 26-song collection featuring Staton’s gritty Top Ten R&B hits for Fame records. The CD was hailed as a treasure chest & subsequently was chosen as Top Ten re-issue by Rolling Stones, Downbeat and Tracks magazine.

    Marc Stretch bio

Grandson of a hog farmer... son of a U.S. Army sergeant... Stretch is no stranger to hard work or bacon. As a true member of Hip Hop culture, Stretch has been an active practitioner of all the elements.

    A B-boy, graf writer, M.C., and [most recently] a D.J.
Whether it be rocking a circle or rocking a stadium crowd,
Marc Stretch comes to play hard.As a member of the Northern California super-group, "Foreign Legion", Stretch has managed to go further than any of his therapists or guidance counselors ever thought he could.
He's rocked a myriad of events and locations, both at home and abroad. He's graced the stage with such greats as Gangstarr, KRS ONE, Ice T, Masta Ace, Pete Rock, Sheilds & Yarnell, Willie Tyler & Lester, Gallagher and Charo, just to name a few.

Rumor has it that he was actually supposed to be the original Arnold Drummond but had to drop out of the role after a big wheel stunt went freakishly wrong.
Fast forward 20 years later… after a whirlwind set of world tours with Foreign Legion and The Fabulous Legionettes, Stretch took the time out to devote his energy to another passion of his ... women straight out the penetentary that wear doo-rags... after he was done with that, he decided to add djing to his repertoire.
Always a student of Hip-Hop, Marc quickly began to show prowess and skill with that as well. And this brings us to present day.
As a member of many different groups, Marc Stretch has proven to be one thing... consistently excellent. Whether it's rocking a mic or ripping the wax, Stretchito will give you what you need or your money back.

    WHO IS DJ FLIP?
by Gorgeous Charisma, Eventage Reporterist, Plowland Daily Mail and Seed Catalog

DJ Flip, the Larry Mullen Jr. of hip-hop, first came in the public's eye…er, no, make that, first came into the public's eye…no, rather, first came into prominence in the public eye (there, that's better) after scratching his way to the winner's seat at the International Turntable Federation's World Championship in 2003/2004. The "slash" between the years is still a mystery to everyone involved. Was it 2003 or 2004? The answer is lost to the ages. What everyone remembers is that an Irish kid touched his records while they were moving, and for some reason this was worthy of special recognition. So they called him the Scratching Champion…or something. It's not like he got a crown. Some say it's a meaningless title, like Miss Universe or Lieutenant Governor. You, gentle reader, might as well be ITF World Champion. It's just that easy!

At any rate, almost no one who saw his performance that day would agree to speak about it. One observer, wishing to remain anonymous, had this to say: "He's no Qbert, but one thing's for certain—his scratch-pickle isn't invisible. We kept asking him to put it away...I mean, there were ladies present!" Local police confirmed at least part of this story. According to Constable Snil Atkerston of the F— Police Department , there indeed were ladies present. He remembers at least two, and one of them wasn't half bad looking. A brunette, possibly. But he was mostly looking at her legs.

The bottom line is this: you don't know DJ Flip. You can't know him. And you should be very thankful for that fact. I wish I had never met him, had never been asked to write these notes, had never been added to his infernal MySpace page. The taint of it is like a stink-palm I'll be shaking for the rest of my days, and I'll never be clean again. As for Flip, he was never clean to begin with. He'll go right on his merry way, living it up like some pill-addled leprechaun, stinking of shamrocks and shoe-leather. He even named his company LuckyCharm Records. I mean, seriously…we get it. Ireland. I've heard about it. It's in all the crosswords. The answer is EIRE…or ERIN. It depends.

So there you have it…or do you? Obviously you don't. Regardless, DJ Flip is here, and he's a hundred and fifty percent in-your-face at all times. He says what he wants, when he wants, where he wants, to who he wants, and then he also says why he wants…uh, something, and sometimes he says how he wants it, as well. He covers the spectrum. He runs the whole gamut…or is it gauntlet? What's the phrase again? I always think it's the one, but it's really the other…damn it! Well, never you mind, because DJ Flip certainly wouldn't. He'd just keep scr-scr-scratchin' and zigga-zag cuttin' and reverse crab-hamstering, or whatever it is he does, and he would look up at you with those laughing Irish eyes, and he would smile. He would smile.

The author would like to thank Grip Grand, who he actually is.
