CD Wow order not here - 4 weeks

    Mods im not gonna start site bashing just wondering has anyone had issues ordering from this site? I ordered a game for the playstation on the 8TH January and still no sign of it. I've sent emails and have got the normal apoligies and excuses but its getting a bit ridiculous now...thinking of cancelling the order and getting a refund. is that the best bet?

    CDWow's issues are many, varied, and there for a long time now. Delayed orders can go on forever. Your best bet is to cancel now and never order from them again.

    Thanks il keep that in mind. will get onto them about a refund, i assume they just put the money back into my account?

    I agree, unless you can't find the item else where I would cancel the order. I have stopped buying from CD WOW as i had long delays on the last few orders.

    Despite complaining to them I have never got a answer back that shows they are trying to improve their service.

    I'm having a similar issue at the moment. Waiting for an item I ordered for a month now. All I get is an aoutmated email every week saying the order is delayed, they did reply to an email query but still gave no timeframe.

    To be fair though I have ordered from them many times before with no problems.

    I ordered a CD on 27th November as a Christmas present which never arrived.

    Eventually gave up and sourced the CD locally.

    Advised CD-WOW of the problem and up to now have had no joy with a decent reply, never mind a refund.

    Despite using PayPal to play for the CD, raising a dispute does no good as any order over 45 days old will not be looked at.

    I've had problems with them too, but its so handy because they take laser!! Sometimes i order things and get it that week.. more times its months!! Currently been waiting around a month for a dvd.

    To the people who didnt get refunds- i had pre-ordered a dvd before, and it said it was sent, well over a month later there was no sign of it, so i emailed and complained, they said sorry they never had this problem and would send out a replacement. You know the way they give you a timeframe it should be out in (i can't think offhand what it is), anyway that time passed on the REPLACEMENT dvd, and i complained again, i was so mad like i only pre-ordered the dvd because i really wanted it, it was in shops ages by this time i could just buy it but i'd already paid!! Anyway this time i complained they said i had to wait another certain amount of days, i waited and waited and still nothing and i was getting mad! So emailed again, went completely mental at them, they said they never had this problem, and gave me a refund, but then had the cheek to say perhaps it was my address that had the problem!! I was like well i've lived here 21 years.. and this isn't my first piece of post or anything!! But anyway yes, they refunded me, and said to let them know if i did get the dvds so i could send them back! I was like 'as if' in my head, thinking they'd never turn up, but sure enough about another month later they arrived, about two days apart.. despite being apparently sent months apart!! Totally weird, but i gave them as christmas presents so it was ok :) Must have slipped my mind to inform cdwow i ever got them... ;)
