I realise that there are hundreds of tyre threads, but this is mine!

I need to get tyres on all four corners. I've just spent a load of cash on getting the suspension sorted - so I need to get tyres on a budget...

I'm looking at Toyo Proxie Tr1's here: http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m4b0s15p1686

Whats the verdict on these? I hear they are a soft compound.

I need a relatively grippy tyre, but one that wears well - I'd aim to get at lease 18 months out of them... less than 25k probably. Need 215/45/17

I got a pair of these a few weeks ago http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m4b0s15p15446, can't fault them so far. There seems to be more grip the the old directional goodyears and they are quieter too.

Had toyo's on a previous car and they were good but didn't last too long.

Thanks, where did you get them fitted - anywhere around Dublin? & what kind of cost?

They were about 140 each (225x45x17) fitted and balanced from discount tyres in Blanchardstown, great place to deal with :)
