Mate of mine lost his jacket last week while he was a bit out of it in town, contacted a few clubs but it wasnt there, it was possible he just left it in the street? Who do I go to for a lost and found for stuff lost in the city centre? The Gardai or County Council?

Gardaí I'd say, if it was left on the street, I'd say the street sweeping machines swept it away.

Gardai!!! If i found something in the street i would always hand it into the gardai. Mind you if i saw a jacket id leave it there... Doubt he'll get it back unless he finds it himself
