Just heard the news that Gary Boyle died there last week. Cant believe it, he was so young and such a good dentist. I've been going to him for the last six years and having so many problems with my teeth, I found him the first dentist I could relax with and trust.

I'm genuinely shocked, especially with the nature of his death which I wont say on a public forum, but I'm sure you can hazard a guess.

    An awful shame. :(

    RIP Gary.

So sad, what a tragedy and such a waste of a talented young life. The guy cut his weeks short to lecture in the College of Surgeon and genuinely seemed like a gent. I travelled from Donegal a couple of times to see him because he was so good.

Anybody know whats happening to his surgery and the lovely staff he had? :(

Gary was a fine dentist and a great guy. He taught me for may years in the Dublin Dental Hospital. He was always relaxed and calm. He participated in the Irish Dental Accosiation and was a valued member of our profession.

    Dr. Gary Boyle RIP

Dr. Boyle, was a quite kind man and a really fantastic dentist and I am so sad at his passing. Having had so much trouble with my teeth all my life and such a lack of interest from other Dentists (because they thought I was the cause of the problems I had) Dr. Boyle was my hero.

He was good enough to consider my problems and offered me help, suggestions and encouragement not to give up hope. I will miss him for a very long time.

To his family, my thoughts are with you at this time and if it is any comfort I will always remember him as the gentle quite kind man who was My Dentist.

    Dr. Gary Boyle, RIP.

    Dr Gary Boyle RIP
I too attended Garry's practice, I found him to be a real professional. He did great work on my bridge even though it was nearing its end. I now regret I did not folow up on the last piece of advise he gave me. He would always ensure that the anestitic had taken affect before proceeding unlike other dentists I have attended.
May you rest in Peace Gary

I have to say Gary Boyle was a great dentist because I am a very nervous patient. He treated me with respect. He is very much missed.

I have gone to the new dentist there now and he is also excellent. He has a tough job going into Gary's shoes and I wish him all the best. The staff there are also fabulous. I have even got my husband to go to the dentist now!

    RIP Gary Boyle

I have been to Gary's new dentist, Jerry Daly. Was very nervous as I'm not comfortable with dentists and had taken a while to build up a relationship with Gary, who was brilliant.

Have to say Jerry was very patient and understanding and I felt quite comfortable and confident with him. They were also very good about prices, as I have a few things to be done they discounted me and made it all a bit easierr

Gary will never be forgotton, but his staff and everything are still the same, and i'm glad I went back. R.I.P. Gary and thanks.

I've just noticed this thread. Gary was a great friend, teacher and dentist to a lot of people and we will never forget him.
