Was on a dual carriageway today wet road conditions had to break suddenly from 110km/h to a stop jammed on the breaks but it felt like the wheels locked to me ? Is it just the speed i was going at or do i have a problem i have had to stop suddenly before from 70km/h and had no problem.
Its a 01 ford focus 1.4 any ideas guys .

Slightly obvious question - but do you actually have ABS at all? It wasn't standard on the Focus in 2001.

ABS, when fitted and operational, does work. You will usually feel the brake pedal pulsing slightly under your foot when its firing.
