    Hi,

Just wondering if there are any PS3's still available on the market which can support the old PS2 games? If so does anyone know where to get them?

Was it the 60Gb model that supported the old games?

    Any clarification appreciated.

    Thanks

60Gb only and they stopped production over a year ago. Second hand only. It doesn't play all PS2 games mind. Google Playstation european backward compatibility for games that are ok.

    I'll sell you mine for €2000 !
I dont even play PS2 games but that would be really rubbing your nose in it.

You will pay a lot for one of those on ebay or whatever.
I thought it was going to be a big ordeal initially. But people have just got on with it and bought new PS3 games.

If anyone is really stuck I have heard of these rather popular devices that do play PS2 games if you don't actually have a 60GB PS3. Apparently they are fairly cheap and are the best selling console in the world.

They are, of course, called PS2s.

    Wow...
    These PS2's sound GREAT!
