Hey. Well, my little pal Alfie has been missing for 5 days now and I'm really worried. :(

I'm looking for ideas on where to search and what I can do? I don't want to leave any stone unturned.

    What I've done so far:
    1. Asked all the neighbours.
    2. Contacted local SPCA
    3. Posted in lost/missing pets here and on irishanimals.ie
    4. Walked around the area, looked on roadsides and ditches etc.
    5. Checked donedeal and gumtree to see if anyone might have stolen him and tried to sell him (although he isn't pedigree as far as I know).

I havent' put up posters yet, as I live in a small village and everyone knows Alfie as he is so unusual looking. (see pic in lost pets thread above), but I suppose I can try that anyway.

What else can I do? Does anyone have any ideas?

You can call this guy, expensive though but has proved successful on a number of occasions including retrieving the airport cat.

All the tomcats we've ever had just grew up and left without so much as a "see you later", there was just no keeping them - all the queens have had us right where they want us, every time...

    Praying he comes home...

One of ours went missing many months ago; we think a badger took him as they had attacked him before and were after our other cats.

When we moved from that house I still felt I was abandoning him.

Please God wee Alfie comes home...

    Blessings and prayers

Ah God sorry to hear that fingers crossed he comes home, we've always had Toms and they never strayed Im sure Alfie is spoilt rotten too and knows he rules the roost;) Have you tried asking neighbours can they check their sheds and back gardens? Just an idea but if Alfie has a little injury or got a fright he would go somewhere for shelter. Let us know how you get on, I really feel for you, I had to have my cat put to sleep over the summer, he was only a year old you just get so attached to animals, best of luck.

Ah, god thats a shame about your cat. My brothers cat went missing on Christmas day and he still hasn't gotten her back. He even got 1400 flyers printed up and delivered them into all the houses within a mile or two of his house. Make sure to ask local neighbours to check their sheds incase the cat got locked in. I hope you find your cat really soon!!
